VIP Golf Tournament is a Hole-in-One!

First Place Foursome Winner GolfTec North Bethesda with Barbara Ashe, President of the Montgomery County Chamber Community Foundation.

Thank you to our sponsors and golfers for supporting the National Center for the Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP). It was a great day of golf, networking and fun in support of the National Center for VIP. The tournament followed the MCCC Board of Directors Annual Retreat. 100 golfers participated in the scramble/captains choice competition. Congratulations to all of our winners! READ MORE

Senator Garagiola Previews Special Session 2011


Legislative Committee Co-Chair Josh Bokee, Director of Government Affairs for Comcast, led a discussion on the October special session with State Senator Rob Garagiola. Garagiola, who currently serves as the Majority Leader in the Senate, discussed the issues that would be addressed in the October legislative session, which will convene primarily to ratify the Congressional redistricting plan. Led by Vice-Chair Judy Stephenson, President, OFFICEPRO, Inc. and Co-Chair Charles Atwell, President, Innovative Business Interiors, Inc., the Small Business Committee heard from Laura Welsh, Manager - Supply Chain, Contract Management and Supplier Diversity for Washington Gas and Charlie Partridge, Regional Supplier Diversity Manager for Pepco Holdings, Inc. about their procurement programs.
