Montgomery County Business Community
Proposes Amendments to Earned Sick and Safe Leave t

Rockville, MD - A coalition of business organizations sent to the Montgomery County Council today suggested amendments to Bill 60-14 Earned Sick and Safe Leave. The business community has been working to tailor the proposed legislation to meet the needs of the variety of businesses that operate in Montgomery County and that will be impacted by the proposed changes. The Council is scheduled to discuss the bill on Tuesday, June 23 at 11:00 a.m.

The organizations include: Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce, Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce, Gaithersburg Germantown Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (AOBA).
