Lawrence Duncan III of Lockheed Martin Corporation to
Receive Business Advocate of the Year Award at the MCCC 57th Annual Dinner
Rockville, MD – Lawrence (Larry) Duncan III, Vice President of Federal & State Government Relations & PAC Affairs at Lockheed Martin Corporation, will be honored as the Business Advocate of the Year at the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) 57th Annual Dinner. The award will be presented by its sponsor Alexander & Cleaver, P.A. on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.
“I am honored to receive this recognition from the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. It is a pleasure to work with my colleagues at MCCC and other leaders to make our community more attractive for business, jobs and investment,” said Larry Duncan. “The future of Montgomery County and the State of Maryland depends on the private sector and public sector working together in partnership. I am proud to be a part of that important relationship.”
Mr. Larry Duncan is a vocal advocate for strengthening Maryland’s business climate. In addition to serving on the MCCC Board of Directors, he is an active member of MCCC Business Environment Council and a longtime supporter of the MCCC Annapolis Legislative Reception. He is serves on the National Center for Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP) Foundation Golf Tournament Committee in support of veteran-owned businesses.

Larry has also been on the forefront of initiatives to keep businesses expanding and developing by advocating for tax competitiveness. It is an honor to be presenting Larry Duncan with this year's Business Advocate of the Year Award."
