What is the MCCC GovConNet Procurement Conference?
The GovConNet Procurement Conference is a Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce GovConNet event that includes BREAKOUT SESSIONS, EXPO, ASK THE BUSINESS DOCTOR and MATCHMAKING.  The annual Conference attracts over 700 participants to connect with government agencies, prime contractors and each other.

Who can benefit from attending the GovConNet Procurement Conference?
Those businesses ready to do business with federal, state and local governments, primes and each other.  Also, businesses that support the government contracting community e.g. service providers.

What is the Conference registration fee and what does it include?
MCCC Members:  $95             Non-Members:  $110
Includes:  Conference program book, access to all breakout sessions, Ask the Business Doctor, the Expo,  opportunity to apply for matchmaking sessions, breakfast, lunch, and parking.

Where does the Conference take place?
The Conference takes place at the Universities at Shady Grove, 9630 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville, MD 20850. Registration, Breakout Sessions, Expo, Ask the Business Doctor and Matchmaking take place in Building II. The Opening Ceremony takes place in Building I.

What is the format of the Breakout Sessions?
There will be three session tracks over 2 hours: Federal Procurement Opportunities, Maryland Procurement Opportunities and How to Go to Market and Win.  Each session is one-hour long in panel or keynote format.

How can I participate in matchmaking? What is the deadline?
If you would like to apply to be considered for the matchmaking sessions with prime contractors and government agencies first register for the conference and, in your confirmation email, you will receive the link to the matchmaking session registration form. The agencies and primes choose the businesses they would like to meet. Selected businesses will then have an opportunity to choose someone who did not choose you. The application deadline is May 6.

What is Ask the Business Doctor?
Speed mentoriing with experts in legal, accounting, HR/recruiting, Insurance, Compliance, Financial Services, Project Management, Capture & Proposals. Appointments are not necessary.

Who will be represented at the Expo and how do I secure a booth?
85 Government agencies, prime contractors and industry experts that support the contracting business community will be hosting exhibit booths from 12:30 to 3:00pm. Booth registration is available at www.mcccmd.com
Booth registration information: MCCC Member - $450            Non-Member -    $550
Includes:  One 6’ x 2.5’ skirted table, 2 chairs, 2 passes to workshops, the Expo Hall, opportunity to apply for matchmaking sessions, listing in event publications and MCCC website, breakfast and lunch.
