Guest Speaker:  Ron Kaese, Director, Federal Programs, Maryland Technology Development Corporation

The vice-chair of the Economic Development Committee, Leslie Ford Weber, welcomed MCCC members and introduced the guest speaker, Ron Kaese, Director, Federal Programs, Maryland Technology Development Corporation. Kaese discussed “Turning Research into Revenue: The role of TEDCO in Commercialization.”

TEDCO’s mission is, “To facilitate the creation and growth of businesses throughout all regions of the State by supporting entrepreneurship and innovative technologies.” The variety of funding programs that TEDCO offers strive to facilitate technology based economic development.
