Montgomery County Planning Board member Norman Dreyfuss, a longtime Washington area real estate developer whose projects include Leisure World, recently indicated he will re-apply for a new four-year term on the Planning Board. This morning, he met with the Chamber’s Infrastructure and Land Use Committee – headed by MCCC Vice-Chair Gus Bauman of Beveridge & Diamond, PC – and shared his observations on the planning process, from a Board perspective. Dreyfuss was appointed by the County Council in 2010 to complete the uncompleted term of the late Jean Cryor.  He commended the leadership of new Planning Board Chair Francoise Carrier and told the group one of his overarching goals would be for the Park and Planning Commission to improve its speed and efficiency in processing development plans.
