The Councilmember solicited feedback on the regulatory environment in Montgomery County from members of the committee. The committee highlighted issues with streamlining payment processes, categorizing small vs. micro businesses, and issues responding to RFPs. Leventhal also mentioned the County’s new focus on doing business locally, which will also be the subject of the next Small Business Committee meeting on November 16th.
